Our Mission

 At Mason's Light House, our mission is to provide a compassionate, home-like environment for medically fragile children and their families. Many of these children require around-the-clock skilled nursing care, while others are facing the unimaginable journey of hospice. Our goal is to offer exceptional care in a place filled with comfort, love, and hope—a true home away from home where families can focus on what matters most: being together and creating lasting memories.

Our home will feature three pediatric hospice suites (serving children ages 0–21), each thoughtfully connected to a private family suite. We believe no family should have to be separated during one of life's most difficult moments. By keeping loved ones together, we hope to provide peace, dignity, and comfort while helping families create meaningful memories they will cherish forever.

 In addition, Mason's Light House will offer four respite suites for medically fragile children. Caring for a child with complex medical needs is both rewarding and exhausting, and every caregiver deserves the opportunity to rest, recharge, travel for work, attend to other family members, or simply take a much-needed break with confidence. While their child is in our care, families can have peace of mind knowing they are receiving expert nursing care from a team that truly understands and celebrates every child. Our staff and volunteers are committed to making each child's stay feel special, joyful, and enriching—like a vacation of their own.

 To support the whole child and family, Mason's Light House will provide a variety of therapeutic and enriching experiences, including pet therapy, music therapy, creative arts, spiritual care, massage and healing touch therapy, sound therapy, aquatic therapy, grief support, and memorial gatherings. These services are designed to nurture emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being while creating moments of joy, connection, and healing.

 Families will also have access to thoughtfully designed shared spaces that encourage both togetherness and privacy. These spaces will include a welcoming kitchen and dining area, a great room, sensory play room, music recording and media room, hydrotherapy room, craft room, and a serenity room. Although these amenities are shared, families will have opportunities to enjoy them privately, allowing for meaningful moments together in a peaceful setting.

 Every service, every therapy, and every stay at Mason's Light House will be provided free of charge to medically fragile children and their families. We believe financial circumstances should never prevent a family from receiving compassionate care, meaningful support, and precious time together. Our hope is to lighten the burden families carry, surround them with unwavering support, and create a place where love, comfort, and lasting memories shine brightly.
