Curtis is married to Shanna. He is the father of three children, Colton, Mason, and Izabella. Curtis is an electrician. He is a volunteer fireman for the Grinnell Fire Department. Curtis sits on the Poweshiek County Fair Board as well.
Curtis is excited about Mason's Light House, mostly because he thinks every state should have at least 1 Hospice and Respite home for kids. He feels families shouldn't have to be split up or far away from their support to get the best care they need for their child.
